Hudson Taylor
What is the top result when you Google ‘Hudson Taylor’? Well, you actually get some bloke called James Hudson Taylor; a British Protestant Christian missionary who went to China and founded the China Inland Mission. However, by the end of 2014, I’d like to think that Hudson Taylor, the incredible Irish folk pop duo, will be the top result on ye olde Google.
Ladies and Gentlemen, may I introduce you to Harry and Alfie. Harry and Alfie are brothers. They can both play the guitar. They can both sing, and better yet, harmonise. They even write their own songs, so really there’s nothing not to like. Their debut EP ‘Battles’ was released in August 2012, and it reached #1 on iTunes in Ireland and #14 on iTunes UK. Not too shabby! However, I still think this band hasn’t quite hit the so called ‘main stream’ in the UK yet; something they definitely deserve. So, let’s make 2014 their year! Do your bit Britain! Go ahead and listen to some acoustic guitar with gorgeous vocals, and put that James Hudson Taylor as the second top result on Google…vive la revolution!
